Hessle Town Hall

South Lane, Hessle, HU13 0RR

  • Every Wednesday, 19:30 – 22:30 (lessons/freestyle)

The best sprung dance floor north of the Humber! With a 70 ft  x 40 ft sprung wood block floor the Hessle Town Hall has been the home of Hessle jive for 7 years. The floor at Hessle is what the dancers love, but not just what the venue offers.

The hall also has a separate room for beginners to practise their moves with the help of our volunteer crew members, whilst the intermediates have a lesson from one of our guest teachers.

What happens on the night? (Classes)

Just show up on any Wednesday night and you’ll walk away with enough moves to get you going!

You will learn 4 new beginners moves each week, each move is broken down in the lesson and practised.

The following week you’ll learn some more moves, which you can combine with the previous weeks and before you know it you’ll be dancing with the best of them.

Each week you’ll learn something new and get to practice the moves learnt previously with the help of other dancers and our fantastic crew members. Even if you don’t come every week it doesn’t matter as you will have new moves to learn and can pick up where you left off.

Cost £8 for the whole evening!
